Circle C West Project Update

The Circle C Board of Directors issued an RFP for a project manager for the West Pool Project and plans to finalize their selection at the end of January 2010. The Project Manager will create a timeline for solicitation of bids for the design and construction of the project and we will have more information after that time.

Update on Circle C North Development at Barstow and Slaughter

A preliminary subdivision plat has been filed for the west side of Barstow at Slaughter Lane.  Many of you have received notices from the Planning and Zoning Commission if you live within 300 feet of the development.

This parcel of land is 6.38 acres and is owned by Origin Homes.  The subdivision will consist of 27 lots, which includes a lot that will be dedicated to the existing west side mail center, and lots that are dedicated for drainage and environmental controls.  On the notification that was received, the proposed use was listed as Single Family and Public/Quasi Public

The land is zoned single family and will have one entry street off of Barstow that will essentially create a single cul-de-sac.  The homes will be comparable to existing Circle C North homes and be part of the Circle C Homeowners Association, complete with deed restrictions and architectural control requirements.

We currently have no information as to the planned construction dates.
